Hero limps UTG with QQ, nobody raises, and 7 (!!) people see the flop. Bad news.
But the flop is QQ9 with two spades.
Checks around.
Turn is . Flushes and straights are out there, even the straight flush that could beat me. I'm starting to try to remember whether or not Party has a bad beat jackpot. Then I figure I might as well bet, the board looks awful juicy. I bet about 1/2 pot, everybody folds.
....
Raise OTB with [Kc], get 2 callers. Flop is [Td][5d]. Checks to me, I bet pot, MP now check-raises all-in. He's got about half a stack. I know I should fold since these passive players rarely bluff, but I decide to call for some reason. He shows TT. Oops. Turn . River . SHIP IT!!
....
Raise to 5x first-in in the CO with some mediocre unpaired hand, button calls, BB calls. Flop misses me completely. With two in the pot with me I am ready to check/fold: this is not the spot I want. BB minimum bets, I think about it and call, button calls. Turn misses me again, he minimum bets again, I call again, button folds (!). River misses yet again but pairs the board, he minimum bets AGAIN, I figure why not take a shot and raise half the pot, he instafolds. Nice playing dude.
....
On top of it I caught a couple of sets and took decent pots with them. And a bunch of other hands must have gone well because I finished up about 4 buy-ins in about 90 minutes. Plus finished the bonus.

Earlier in the evening, playing 1/2 limit at B2B. The tables are all breaking up because the Europeans are going to bed, it's about 7:15 PM Central Time (ugh). Very last table running at all and I'm HU vs a guy who seems decent. I just want a little experience playing HU limit, never done it before.
The 3rd HU hand he raises my blind preflop, I call with [3h] and the flop is A25. I can't believe it. Heads up and everything. Plus he loves the flop too. Flop and turn are both capped. The board pairs aces on the river and he takes it down with A2. Ugh.
The 8th HU hand he raises my blind preflop, I reraise with AQ. Flop is KTx and then turn is a J (!!), turn is capped and river is bet and raised. This time the nuts actually holds up vs his top 2 pair.

CJ and Alex, keep the faith. Luck turns around. Mine sure has.
