I agree that you have to make the call. I do think that you could just push preflop though. Since you know that you are pot committed, I generally prefer just pushing preflop. This move looks a little more desperate, and you may get called by an AJ, AT, or Axs type of hand, as well as a variety of pairs in which you are a slight dog.

Not sure how a stack with 15 BBs a raise would commit you to the pot. With 15BBs, you should have an M at 10, which means a 3x raise would leave 12 BBs behind and an M of 7. That's still enough to fold if you have a good read, albeit on the Albanian border.
