4 handed.
I have $750, BB has $1200, and BTN covers.
BB sat down a couple orbits ago and doubled up with a set vs AA after calling a preflop reraise with 44.
I have a note on him from another session, where he called a PFR with AK, checked on a flop of QJx, check-called a bet on a brick turn, and then led for about pot on the river when it bricked.
I get the impression he's generally aggressive as well.
Since he's been at the table I've maybe been in two limped pots which I folded to a bet.
I had been reraising preflop quite liberally, but not since he sat down.
So I'm not sure if he's aware of it or not, it depends if he was watching the table for a while before sitting down.
I kind of doubt he was.
The hand:
BTN opens for $18, I reraise to $55 with
.
BB instacalls, BTN thinks and calls.
Flop
, pot $160.
I lead for $110, BB instacalls, BTN folds.
Turn
, pot $380.
I check planning to checkraise all-in, but he checks behind.
River
, pot $380.
I check planning to call his bet.
I figure he could take a shot with any 2 quite often (he'd expect me to fold AK, I'm pretty sure).
I considered value betting/blocking for $200, but I really want to get to showdown and am concerned about getting raised off my hand.
So he does bet, but he instantly goes all-in.
It's $580 to me.
