4th out of about 130 in a $24 guaranteed $3500 at Tribeca (only poker I've played this week apart from a $5 PLO table to test out Stars software) - took home $280
Played well and was in top 3 or 4 throughout, but not sure whether I made -EV play at end considering stack sizes.
Stacks were something like 85k (aggro leader), 30k (me) and 12k and 10k.
Blinds were 1600/3200.
Leader was raising every hand 3x BB.
I was BB he was SB. He puts in his usual raise and I see a flop with K9o. I hit K on a 2-suited flop. He bets 1/2 pot. I push. He calls and his no overcard flush draw gets home to knock me out. I put him on flush draw or better as with nothing at all he would have bet pot.
2nd was $700 and 3rd about $450 I think.
Should I have just let him blind steal me there and waited for the two small stacks to bust out? Should I just have called his small bet on flop and pushed back on turn if no flush card came?
In a cash game sense I played the hand right, but in MTT last four?

Took down a $4 180 sng on stars last night. The site froze with 4 left and me in the chip lead. By the time I noticed it was back up I was 3rd in chips. When we got hu I was down 90k to 180k and I told MVP (on the rail) that I needed to get lucky once, then I would win. Got all in with aq v q10 on a qj5 flop.
This is the third $4 180 I have won in the last three weeks.
