14 buyins at FR, thats pretty sick, and considering it sounds like its in a very short space of time it most likely involves a fair bit of tilt
For me, if im tilting, I simply cannot play micro stakes to get rid of the tilt. It just doesnt work, cos the money means nothing and I dont have any respect for the players - I could well end up even more frustrated and tilted.
However, I do like to play $5 HU SnGs... I NEVER normally play SnGs (I did for my first yr of poker, now I usually hate them). These are fun, and you get to play some real poker where you can try and outplay someone one on one.
The main way I shrug away tilt is essentially
taking time off .. its crucial.. recharge them batterys. Your weapons, arsenal and tools are all
in your mind and if your not in the right mindstate then your tools are shagged... if you were a carpenter and most your tools busted you wouldnt carry on, youd try and sort things out, fix them (or buy new ones)
Make use of the time off, you may not feel up to studying poker books so:
Look thru all your biggest winners and loser in PT.
Watch a bunch of poker videos (pokeravi.com, cardrunners.com etc)
Do some exercise, get your mind clear from the grind and thinking of other things.
Learn some relaxation tecniques and chill.
