1/2NL 6max Prima.

Villain just entered a few hands ago and has been active. I have notes on him that say I've seen him min raise the flop with a FD and also with TPTK.

I've been bullying the table a bit.

I raise OTB with A[h] J[s] to 8. Villain limp calls, another calls.

Flop ($24) J[h] 4[h] 3[s]. The both check. I get cutsy and bet 1/2 pot. Why? I dunno.

Villain thinks for a while and now min raises to 24. Pot is now $60 and he has about that left.

I push. Thoughts...

Meh... Since you have the , I would say it's not as likely that he has a FD... And, since people usually limp/call w/ Ax or small PPs, methinks a set??? Unless you have a read that he floats flops w/ smaller pairs, I'm not really in love w/ it...

I don't like it. Your push forces your opponent to play optimally against you, he will fold all TPGK types of hands, and call with big draws (coinflips) and hands that beat you (overpairs, sets).

If you think that he tries to steal the pot from you, then you should be calling him not pushing yourself, if he has a big draw push is not a good idea too, it is better to call and raise non heart non 7 or 2 turn.

Against hands like KJ, JT calling and raising turn after he checks is better too.

He thought for a long time and called with KJ.

If I didn't have my notes, I'm not sure what I do there. Buit, I thought folding was too weak tight since he's short and has been donkish with min raises before. Stack sizes say push.

Sorry, didn't notic stack sizes, in my first post I assumed full stacks .
For less than half stack I don't mind a push.
