That is a massive re-raise from UTG +1, it really looks as though he is trying to protect something, unless he has or something. TT and JJ seem possible, so is KK, AA, or any set.

What kind of play is UTG+1 ? What hand does he limp call with? Does he like to get all- involved with over pairs on flops like that?

This looks like a fold situation, QQ is so weak and if you are running bad then you really don't need to take risks. You are getting 3-1? to call tho..

how about stop calling all-ins with a pair. That would help

I would say about half your posts are you overplaying pairs, or calling all-ins with an overpair. you need to go back into PT and evaluate your last 50 hands with AA-TT and see how you are playing them and how many times you have called all-ins with overpairs

I don't mean to Hijack, but Jarren's post is really good. I am saving that one for myself.

I too stack off with an over-pair way too often, I really think the sign of a good player is being able to lay down AA-JJ on a raggy flop, at the end of the day I would rather be laying down the best hand than losing a buyin with one pair.

With all the other donks out there you get implied odds from playing small pairs yourself, so why just give that edge right back.

Good points you mentioned that I never thought about. But how do I know if the person woudlnt make the same play with TT, JJ, QQ, or even KK and AA?
