Looking back at it, I dont like the min raise on that flop. I was giving very very good odds for QQ to fill up.

I don't really like the call preflop, however I guess your notes are telling you massive implied odds. Once you hit the flop like that I like your play OK.

Yenool, I am calling when I have position and stacks are deep with suited connector and even one gappers. I have hit some HUGE pots with them. Of course, you must have a read for this call to be a god one. If it's the uncommon NL$50 player that wont be stacked with an overpair, then there is no point in calling. I had the read and proceed.

The flop minimum raise is fine. (Although a bigger raise is probably better, just on general principles.) Yes he can try to fill up on the turn if he has top boat. But that's fine, presuming you can get away from it if the board pairs and he goes crazy. You're in position, you can use it. Assuming the board doesn't pair, you can get it all in on the turn when he's drawing very thin. He could also be on [Ac] or some such. Either way you're waiting for a safe turn card to get it in.

Once he reraises your push is great, of course.

Say he has QQ. You want to get his stack and not give him odds to draw.

To me that says raise the flop big. If you wait to start raising until the turn, many sets might get suspicions. A[d] A[c] might get suspicious. You raise big on teh flop and a set will call and now he's pretty committed.

I hate, hate hate to say that he had for the mortal nuts. I guess I was drawing to a very iunlikely and then which I guess wasnt so bad .

K3nt, you got it right. I thought of the raise and was hoping he reraise me BIG if he had something like Ax or -Kx.
