Villian seems to be an average 50NL player. Havent been paying attention very closely..but i havent seen him do anything to out of line....nor anything impressive.

??? wtf would he be leading out with a half-pot bet? obvious raise for the hero right?..if so, how much do u recommend in this situation?

Not sure about 6 handed but if someone leads out anything under 3/4 of the pot, I re-raise them the full pot as it usually is a blocking bet and they fold majority of the time.

I prefer a preflop raise to 10 or more. I think 7 gets called way too much.

At 10 or more, he's either going to fold, which is what you want, or he'll call but he'll be gunshy.

As played, I raise him huge on the flop. Probably to 25 or so.

I agree with tim, raise more preflop and then raise that flop big time.
