I screwed this one up royally. In part because I had just gotten a phone call I had to answer and was on the phone while playing the hand. (I think I may need to make a rule about not answering the phone while playing or sitting out as soon as it rings. This little chat cost me what would have been a $130 pot).

Villain and I each have about $65. I have only 40 hands on him: 17% VPIP, 7% PFR.

Villain raises to $1.50 UTG.
I'm in the seat next to him with . I re-raise to $4. Fold around to him. He thinks for a long time and then calls. I have this creepy feeling that he is sitting on something very good, AA or QQ.

Flop ($9) is . He checks to me. I bet $7. He thinks for the maximum amount of time and then calls.

Turn ($23) is . He bets $12. Here I messed up. I just called. I felt that even a min raise here would be pot committing me and I just had this stupid feeling that I was beat.

River ($47) is . He pushes for $46.

Easy fold, easy call?

When someone takes the maximum amount of time to make their decision, say preflop and on the flop, what does that tell you? My instinct is to think that they are strong and are trying to seem weak....

I fold here as played. Highly unlikely he's got JJ or something that you can beat once that Q came off. My money's on QQ - his delays and smallish bet were actually QQ thinking he was beat until the river IMO.

How do you handle the turn? Raise how much? Push?

Before folding to his river bet, I typed in "QQ?"

Raise to $6 on preflop. BTP on the flop. At this point, the pot is now $36 going into the turn. If he bets $12 there, you push because you won't be folding the river putting in half of your stack already with a pretty nonthreatening board. HIs bet on the turn seems to be a blocking bet.
