Seriously, who would buy this car? I am driving a Dodge Caliber, and it blows. The windshield is the size of a postage stamp. Some cars have a blind spot. This car has very few places that aren't a blind spot. And it looks -- it looks like someone mated a Chrysler 300 to a Yugo and took the retarded runt of the litter. But hey, the windshield wipers work good.

And why is it still freakin winter in Virginia? I get here and everyone is wearing jackets. I brought shorts. It's like 4 degrees outside. Maybe 5.

I did whore the airport for an extra $400. Got a $200 voucher to delay my flight, then another $200 voucher to delay THAT flight. Too funny.

Laptop poker sucks. I can only 3 table, and still with overlap at PR.

On a positive note, the Tuscan Chicken Sandwich at Subway...very tasty.

Poker can be described with two words...card dead. I won a whopping $45 in 2 hours. I think I played about 7 hands. No pokertracker, so maybe I forgot 2.

The one hand that I remember...a lesson in why you don't slowplay.

I'm in the SB with KJ. I fill and 6 go to the flop. Flop is AQ4 rainbow. One guy bets 50 cents, everyone folds, so I give it the loose call. Turn is a blank. I check and he checks. River is a 10, giving me the nuts. So I bet $3, which is more than the pot. He min-raises. I push. He thinks until the time limit, and calls. His AQ doesn't win.

Please, dear God, don't slowplay 2 pair.

I have my PR bankroll back up to $272. So I'm going to 3 table NL50 tomorrow, I think. Maybe toss in a NL100. I'm done with the 25 rebuild.

Since i found that $200 at party, I've been checking around. I had $6 at full tilt, but I had 10,000 points, which let me buy two books for free. Free stuff rocks.

MIke, the guy to beat the crap out of NL$25 is on the Limit section. The póst of Piers he titled: "How to beat low limit Holdem" or something like that.

It s about starting hands and learning to fold when the odds are not good for a call. Not that I say that NL$50 or even $100 is any different .

So here's an interesting statistic. I have 8K hands in my database from Pokerroom and Hollywood. 3 levels. Here are the results

25NL 2K hands, +20.5 PTBB/100
50NL 3K hands, -2.5 PTBB/100
100NL 3K hands, +10.5 PTBB/100

I can't beat 50NL at ongame. I have no idea why. Small sample size, for sure, but even just sitting at the tables I'm not feeling like I'm in control. At the NL100s it's been exactly the opposite.


I actually folded KK preflop for what I think was the first time in my life last night.
I have $121, SB has $108.

On the button I raise to $4. SB raises to $12.50. I immediately give him less credit, because he could be pushing because I raised from the button. I reraise to $30. He goes all in. I fold. Screw it, he's the small blind, he could be on QQ, but I just felt like he had the AA. I don't need to toss a stack away there when I'm playing good poker. And I was really playing well. Picked off a few bluffs, made a few plays, but mostly played solid and finished up $277 for the day.

Another crazy hand, I had AA and a full stack and got all in preflop only to find myself against a duplicate AA.

And to top it off I smoked some ribs for dinner...I have some fairly serious talent for that. They were awesome. Tonight the wife is making me lasagna for dinner. I'm going to weigh about 1000 pounds by monday.

The funny thing is, none of it has anything to do with skill. Tonight I lost on one cooler and a bunch of being card dead. Yesterday I won with AA vs KK preflop all-in, 222 vs AA, and 5555 vs something that he mucked. So yesterday I hit cards and got paid off by donks, today I didn't.

On a positive note, I've got my bankroll for my alaska trip set aside in cash now. If they don't have poker we're going to have a LOT of money for drinks. Or eskimo art. Whatever that might be. Polar bear pelts. Whatever they sell in Alaska and Canada. I'm sure I'll end up buying a lot of it. God forbid they sell shoes.

I booked a fishing expedition -- halibut -- whatever that is. Probably some man-eating fish. Apparently they run 50 pounds or so. That ought to be interesting. I'll probably be chumming the water with my vomit over the side of the boat. Why the hell I got talked into this I don't know.

Headline: Man found dead in pool of own vomit in bering sea...or whatever that body of water is between alaksa and Russia. Freakin siberians. I'd look it up on a map but I don't really care enough.

Going to the beach on Friday. It's a 4 minute drive, so it's quite a bit of effort. If you've never been to the FLA panhandle, you should come. But not in late June. Maybe September or March when it isn't 2 million degrees out.

USA vs. Ghana tomorrow. Freakin Ghana. That's in Africa, or so I'm told. I hate Africa. People shoot at you in Africa. Being shot at sucks. Freakin people shooting at you.

I have been playing there and since I am getting one set in about 25 flops seen with a pocket, I am just at 2.25ptbb/100 over the last 4000+ hands. I just cant catch anything but I dont really see many people doing stupid things like they mostly do in most other sites.

4K hands is a good amount to at least get a grasp of the competition and they are not great but seems to me they are at least not donating so much. Kinda UB or soemthing. And I simply cant find any table with a high VP$IP as most regulars said there are.
