Played a little headsup limit poker. 1/2 at B2B. So just 20 BBs. But boy they went away fast.
(How did I get involved in headsup play, you ask? Well, all the tables had waiting lists of like 8 players, so I thought I would sit down at the table with just one player while I waited. I meant to sit out and wait to be joined by a few more players. But I didn't click the "sit out" button fast enough, and I was dealt Q8 and the flop came QQx and all of a sudden my brain is fully engaged in playing....)
In literally 5 minutes, we played about 10 hands. I lost most of my 20BBs in 3 of those hands.
Here they were:
Very first hand is my Q8 on a QQxxx board. He had KQ.
Next big one: I have [Tc] on a [9c]x[3h][3c] board and he has QQ.
Last one: I had A8 and he had JT and the board was 98783.
And then my 40 euros was gone. Urk.
Probably I just suck at HU limit. Probably I just suck at limit period.
Thanks to the B2B bonus I am still up a little bit in my limit experiment. But I think I'm headed back to NL. All my NL instincts seem to be wrong for limit.
