Lately I've been playing more at live games than on the internet, even though I get in way less hands per hour and the rake is horrible, there's something about playing in live games that I can't seem to get away from.
Anyway, my stack is at about 400 and I get two black Kings in early position. Raise 4x BB to $16, a college kid calls in MP1, and button calls too.
Pot: $42 (- rake ugh)
Flop:
I bet $35, and the college kid raises to $100. He has me covered. Button folds.
Normally, in my experience, college kids watch too much WSOP and WPT and think that you can play ring games like you play tournements. Just my luck, this college kid is actually a good player; tight, solid, and liable to make plays.
I don't really know what to do here. I know he either has a hand like TT or 99 and is trying to raise me out of the pot because he thinks I have over cards, or 56s/67s. A flush draw is also a possibility, but i think the previous mentioned hands are a bigger possibility. I'm also pretty sure he doesn't have 22 because I saw him flop an underfull in a previous hand and waited for the turn before he raised.
So, push and pray? Fold like a *****? Or perhaps I'm thinking too much into this and I'm just weak-tight?
