Uberdonk, wow thats cold. It has been a good week. I cant tell you how much fun it is to be feared at a poker table. The players in this game really cant play with me. At first when I started beating this game people were saying I was so predictable, I was a rock, so I started stealing a lot of pots. Now they have no idea what to do with me. I have been caught enough times that people keep paying me off when I have it. I steal a lot of pots in postion, I have been raising a lot of SC and calling raises with a variaty of hands. If any of them were really paying attention I only play big pots with big hands but steal a lot of pots with bets. Thye can call me all the names they want but everytime I get all my chips in I have the best hand. It is nice to run well I'm just waiting for the variance to kick in.

I'm usually betting the flop here because I do that often enough.
If not that then I'm raising the turn a decent amount.

I agree and I disagree Shobote. I really dont like betting the flop because I am pretty sure Villian has two big cards that missed the board, this guy would have bet this flop with any pair. The Q comes on the turn and I hope that it hit his AQ or KQ. When he calls my raise I know exactly what he has and he's drawing to 2 outs. I want to keep him in the hand at this point. I know he is going to call a value bet on the river and I know what 2 cards I dont want to see. I think betting the flop or making a big raise on the turn loses this guy and loses me a lot of value. I probably should have raise to $70 and could have gotten called.

This is now officially my biggest single week in my poker career. Another day of 5/5 NL at the lucky lady.

First I played some 8/16 while I waited for the NL game to open.

I really only played one hand. I get AA in the BB. I raise and get 5 callers. I know AA almost never holds up in a loose limit game so I'm praying to see an A on the flop. Flop is K42. A pretty decent flop. I bet and get called 2 ways. Turn is a 9. I bet, fold and then a raise. I call. River is a 4 pairing the board. I bet and get called by K9. One good suckout deserves another in my book. Up $204 at limit

As with the last two days things didnt start out to well.

I was really card dead for the first hour. I played one hand really bad. I limp in Mp with AK. Flop is 246, it checks around. Turn is an A. I bte $30, very tricky good player. Raises to $75. Calling station calls, so do I. River is a 10. I check bet is $75. I knew he has aces up I really have no reason for calling his turn raise or river bet. Guess maybe just a brain fart.

Biggest hand of the day. I am the button with JJ. I call a $30 raise. BB reraises to $100. PFR calls, and I do too. Both villians start the hand with $500. Flop is J103 two hearts. BB bets $200. PFR calls. I reraise all in. BB insta calls. MP shrugs and calls. QQ and AK. My hand holds and I win a big pot.

Next nice hand. I am the CI and limp with . Flop is . MP bets $45. I decide to smooth call and trap. To my delight the player UTG who checks reraises to $155. MP calls. I think about it for a couple seconds and move all in. UTG plays very few hands and I couldnt see him limping with utg. He thinks about it and calls. MP shows 1010 and mucks. UTG has 76d and is drawing dead.

Worst hand of the day. Villian has just rebought for $500. He is pretty typical for this game. He plays to many hands. I am on the button with The raise to $35 and get called by 2 players. Flop is AK [10h]. It checks to me. I bet $60, villian calls. Turn is The Four of Hearts. I bet $100 villian check min raises to $200. He has about $200 left behind after the raise. I thought about it and put him all in. He had QJ for the str8 and I missed my 13 outs.

Overall for the day + $938 in 8.25 hrs. Man it feels nice to run good. I have been lucky to hit some sets in some really good spots this week and not get drawn out.

Wow I really got myself behind on my journal. I actually havent played since tuesday and have been enjoying a little break. I'm at my moms in Nor. Cal, I am leaving for Vegas tommorrow and figured a little break before playing a lot of poker would be a good thing for me. 3 session I didnt report.

Session 1: Oceans 11 2/3 game.

Hand 1: I have . I raise to $30 preflop and get called by a donkey I know well. Flop is 349 all hearts. Donkey bets $40, I push all in. He calls with A . My hand holds and I double up.

Hand2: I have . Min raise from the tilting player. I call. Flop is J . PFR bets $25. I raise to $50 to shut out the players behind me, who both fold. Donkey pushs all in for $35. I call. He has turn is a 8 river is 10.

Again I staked my buddy Devin who had a nice run of cards and stacked the same donk from hand 1 twice. He made $420 in profit so I made $210 from him and lost $33 on my own in 3.0 hrs

Completely card dead expect one hand.

I flopped a straight calling a small raise OTB with J10s and stack a $200 short stack. Other than that totally card dead -$67 4 hrs

The game was actually kind of tight for the first time in a while. I really wasnt in the mood to play cards so I ended up calling it a short day after 2 hrs.

One hand I played well. I raise to $35 with QQ. Get called by a really tight player. Flop is 932. I bet $60 he raises to $260. I fold and he shows AA. I really have a good read on this guy, I actually really didnt like the way he called me preflop, I had a thought that I might be way behind.

Overall - 33 in 2.0 hrs.

So much for winning streak that 3 negative session in a row for me now, maybe I can start a new winning streak in Vegas.

Played last night at Caesars, MVP cleaned up, though when I got to the table it was dead. -$18 in 1.5 hrs

Very short session at the venetian 2/5 game. Did my usual and bluffed a calling station after I missed a big draw to lose $100, then flopped broadway in a min raised pot with AJ. Totals +$25 in .75 hrs


Today, I went to the Rio and played in a $175 satalite for tommorrows $1500. I played for 90 min without winning a hand.

I raise AK, BB calls. Flop is J85 with 1 heart. I bet pot, he calls. Turn is Qh. He pushs, I fold. He shows 45h. He got koed before I did, big shock.

I am the button with Q8s. It folds to me I have 550 left. Blinds are 50/100. Both blinds have under 400 and both are rocks. I push in, BB insta calls with AK. Flop is QJJ, turn is a 6 river is a K.

Final hand 108c. I have 125 left. I push in and run into 99 and 77. No help and I'm out in 5th without winning a hand. I did buy my way into the event which starts at noon tommorrow, wish me luck.
