Frusteration Frusteration Frusteration is all I can say right now. I played well and as I should have expected lost most of my chips to a donkey. Dude called off 1/3 of his stacks out of positions 55 and flopped after I raised from the button with KQ. Moron caught his perfect flop k53 and checks and I pot commit myself. Then the final nail in the coffin, I call all in from the BB with 1010 flop a set and lose to runner straight. I was so short at that point the guy trying to steal 3x raise put me all in. MVP is at Caesars playing a cash game but I think getting drunk is a better option at this point. I made it 6.5 hrs placed 390 out of 2700. Man I really want to throw something.

Ok here goes full Wsop Report.

First off the RIO was a freakin madhouse. 207 Tables that were all 11 handed plus 500 alternates. I get to my table and right off I recognise, Jean Robert Bellande and Joel Youngblood. I was actually really nervous and decided to not play a hand outside of monsters til I had a good read on the table. It took about 10 hands til I watched the other people play that I realized I was one of the better players at the table and the butterflies were gone.

First hand I play is JJ. Blinds are 25/25 2 limpers to me. I raise to 150 and get called by 2 players. Flop is AKX. Checks to me, I decide to take a stab and hope that both of them were on PP's. 1st player folds,. 2nd player check raises all in. I Hollywood a little and fold.

I am now down to 750 in chips or so. Blinds are now 25/50. I am the BB with AQs. 2 limpers, SB completes. I decied to see a flop. Flop is AQ4 rainbow. I check Jean Robert bets 250. I call hoping to trap someone in the middle. Turn is a Q, I check Bellande asks how much I have left and puts me all in with AJ. I call and double up, always nice to double through a pro. JR is actually a pretty nice guy but I really wasnt all that impresses with his play.

Funny story after doubling me up Bellande is down about 1000 chips. He min raises to 100 preflop and gets called by the player to my right on the CO calls. Flop is . JR bets 250 CO calls. Turn is the Bellande pushs all in. Guy next to me takes forever, he keeps going on about how he isnt sure he can fold with 16 outs. Reading the board I really had no idea what could have 16 outs. Finally he calls. Bellande says nice call and turns over J10. CO shows . Bellande is actually ahead. River is a brick and JR doubles up with J high.

I get JJ again this time in the BB. Mp raises to 125, 1 caller. I raise to 400 and they both fold.

After that I got moved to a new table. This time with Chris "Jesus" Fergueson. I stole a bunch of blinds and got up to 2200 chips. I'm in the BB with AQ and it folds to Jesus on the button and he raises to 400. He has now raised my BB 2 rounds in a row and the last time he showed down A8o. I reraise this time to 1400. He looks at me and says you have something like AQ? Hmmm I dont want to play against this guy anymore. He folds and I show he im AQ.

Jesus is truely an amazing player. This hand is just sick. Jesus limps, kids raises to 150. Jesus calls. Flop is A93. Jesus checks, kid bets 300. Jesus thinks for a second and calls. Turn is a J. Jesus checks, the kid pushs in his last 700. Jesus instantly calls. The kid looks kind looks really unhappy to get called and turns over k10 for a gutty. With how fast Jesus called I figured he had to have a set. Nope he turns over A2. Freakin insane.

I did some up and downs, I stole a ton of blinds as my table got tight. I also got stealing a bunch of times. Finally with blinds at 100/200 and antes of 25, I have 2500 chips and am starting to get a little short. I am in MP with AA. Crazy agro player to my right has been making it really hard on me. He raises almost every time it folds to him, so I have been unable to steal blinds for a while. I look down at AA. He raise to 800, I decide that I am going to take the risk to double up so I just call. Flop is AJ10. He bets 1000, I push in. He instacalls with KQ. Turn is a K giving me chop outs. River pairs the jack and I double up.

I got caught stealing a couple more times and now with the blinds still 100/200 antes of 25. I get AJc. This is normally a raising hand for me but utg limps which scares me a little. I decide to limp and see a flop, 2 other limpers plus 2 blinds. Flop is J . UTG bets out 1200. I push all in. UTG thinks about it for quite a while and finally calls with KJo. My hand holds up and I'm up to 7500 chips or so when we go to dinner break.

After the dinner break Isabella Mercier moves to our table and is directly to my left, definatly not my idea of a good time, she is a really good player and really really agressive.

I steal some more blinds and am up to 7700 with the blinds at 300/600 and antes of 50. I am the CO with KQs. I raise to 1800. SB who has 5500 chips calls. Flops is K52. He checks I bet 2000, he push all in for 1700 more. I have a really bad feeling but getting 5:1 on my money I have to call. He has 55 and I'm in big trouble, turn gives me hope Q, river is a brick and I'm totally crippled. I cant believe that this guy called off 1/3 of his chips with a small pair and got his perfect flop.

My final hand I am the BB and now have 1400 chips and the blinds still 300/600. It folds to the cutoff who raises to 1600. SB folds. I look down and 1010 and call allin. CO has A3d. Flop is great J104 with 1 diamond. Turn is a black Q, river is a K and I'm done runner runner nothing funner. I was still going to be in trouble even if I won the last pot, I was still going to have to double up at least one more time to get into the money.

I really feel like I played well but really didnt get cards or flops. I never got anywhere near big stacked and I spent most of the time feeling like I was struggling to get a foothold. I did win $50 from MVP and his buddy Robert for lasting the longest.

Brutal story for Robert who was one of the first players out of the tourney. He went out with a set of 3's vs Antonio Esfandiari who had a set of 6's

Wow this has been a god awfull trip.

Yesterday: Had my biggest winning session of the trip at Bally's. I was completely card dead for the first 2 hrs of play. Then finally I flopped a set against someone else's TPWK and stacked her for her whole $60. 3.5 Hrs +$28

Caesars: Decided to play the $220 tourney again. The tourney started out really well. I won two big pots early one with TPTK and the other with a pair of tens calling off someone's bluff. I have 8k chips.

I get moved to a new table and the downfall begins. I have . I raise to 400 chips. Get called by the new player at our table, who has not rebought so he only have 1500 chips to start the hand. Flop is . Villian checks, I decide I'm just going to put him all in. He is to short to try to play poker and any bet is pretty much going to commit me on the turn. He thinks about it and calls with 33. My 18 outs miss on the turn and 21 outs on the river miss. I shake my head and he says, "You bet to big, I knew it was a bluff." Sure moron if you mean pushing with a favored hand a bluff. This was the last hand I played until I went broke. I had an all in moron kid to my left and each time I had a hand he pushed all in and I didnt want to gamble with a donk for half my stack. I was moved to this new table with the blinds at 25/50, finally with the blinds up to 200/400 and the antes 50. I had 1600 chips left and I push all in from the CO with J10s. BB calls from the bb with k2c and flops a flush. I played at this table for more than 2 hrs/ 3 blind levels without winning a hand.

ITS STILL A GREAT TOURNEY...

Today I got up frusterated so I decied to change things up and play some new out of the way card rooms.

First stop Sams Town. To my surprise they have a 2/5 NL running. This should have been one of the greatest table of all times. People calling $100 bets all the way to the river with no pair. The guy to my right bluffs $100 into a $12 pot about 4 times and then kept showing it. Down side, I couldn't make hand to save my life. I played about 90 min before the game broke and didnt win a hand: 1.5 hrs -$79

Next Stop: Boulder Station: They have another very juicy game 4/8 limit Omaha high. Some of the worst players I have ever seen, people calling 3 and 4 bets cold with hands that a decent omaha player wont play in the SB. One guy called 3 bets cold with 666K. Again same problem, this omaha game is only good if you can make a hand. I won one hand in 2 hrs and the two biggest morons werent at the table to raise with nothing when I had the nuts. 2.0 hrs - $73

Final stop for the night: Back to my bread and butter, 2/5 NL at the Bellagio. I thought this was going to finally be a winning session and put me back on the right track. I was card dead for most of the session then finally a big winning hand.

I call a raise from the donk to my right with 44 so does Villian from the BB. Flop is . PFR bets $25. I raise to $100. BB check raises all in. Donk folds. I call, BB has K . Turn is a club giving him outs. River is a brick and I take his stack.

Next hand I play. I raise to $50 preflop with AA. Calling station calls, as he has every preflop raise. Flop is KQ9. Ugly flop I bet $50. He calls. Turn is a 5. I check he bets $150. I fold AA face up and he shows K5.

Then the final killer hand. Villian starts the hand with $800 and I cover. Calling station has $500. Villian raises to $50, I call with 33, calling station calls from the BB. Flop is 6 . PFR bets $100. I just call hoping CS had some kind of draw, he folds. Turn is a 2. PFR bets $100. I raise to $300. He calls. River is an A. He pushs in for his last $250. I actually considered folding I was so sure I was beat. I call and he shows AA. God I love two outters. Always nice to lose a $1700 pot to a 2 outter. Totals for the session - $679 in 5 hrs.
