Played another 1k hands yesterday and just a pretty unbelievable day. Up and down, bad beats, donking off, everything, you name it. But, in the end I finished up around $250 for 12PTBB/100.
Here's what my PT screen looks like for each session

31 hands +16.00
30 hands -0.75
15 hands +73.24

Then I took a break to watch Germany v Argentina

131 hands -116.25
114 -100.00
135 -16.50

Another break for dinner

167 +40.00
28 -9.00
22 -6.00
144 +165.25
130 +141.66
27 +43.50

Total card rack at the end or what :D

First big hand I play, I have JJ UTG 9-h and raise to $4 and get callers from MP1 and MP3
Flop comes 553 and I lead 9 into 13.5, MP1 folds, MP3 min raises to $18. I say PAH to you sir and push. He insta calls with 44 ????? and get his donkey $50 half stack when the board reads 55356.

I also play a medium pot with AK when I raise UTG to $4 6-h. Flop comes KTx and I lead for $12 into $16 and get one caller. Turn is a T which I don't much care for and being OOP I check, he checks behind. River is a J, checked down and I win against his QJ.

So I'm feeling pretty good at this stage, about $90 up in like 20 minutes and well on the way to negating the $200 loss of the day before. I went off to watch the footie, which was a pretty poor game to be honest. How England can be called the most boring football team when Argentina did nothing at all in the first half is beyond me. Anyhow, I fired up the tables again after and this is where it started to go wrong.

I get AKs in MP and raise to $5 after 1 limper, he calls in EP
Flop comes A85 (2 of my suit). I lead 6 into 11.5, he calls
Turn is an offsuit 6. He min crs my 18 into 23 bet and I push hoping to catch (biiiiiiig mistake) and he instacalls with his pocket 5s.
I don't make it and he gets my stack thanks to my indiscipline here. Should have just called his raise and hoped to check it down. Live and learn

Also had KK which I had to fold after re-raising from the blinds PF when the board read AT77. He pushed the turn and I decided he had to have AK or TT here so I dumped it which cost me $34

UTG and UTG+1 limp, folded to SB who min raises to $2. I call in the BB with 66 and the other 2 call as well. 4 to the flop
Flop is 962. SB leads 3 into 8, I get all sneaky and call hoping to bring the other 2 along and wait for a safe turn to get busy, UTG folds, UTG+1 raises to 9, SB calls and I call.
Turn is offsuit Q, pretty banine but I decide I've got to make a move now after SB checks and I lead 22 into 35. UTG+1 pushes his 79 and I instacall after SB folds. I'm so hoping hes got 22 here or AQs but of course hes garotted my bollocks with 99.....NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. The whole table goes OWWIIEEEEE and I go HAB CHAB HOLY MOTHER OF GOD BLA BLA BLA.

I take another break and after being $90 up, I'm $140 down #-o ](*,) :-({|=
It was also around this time that I checked on my 2nd Littlewoods bonus and saw that I could only get it for playing in the casino, not the poker tables so DOUBLE DOH DOH DOH to that, at least I'll get some rakeback for it.

I switched sites and started on my 5th crypto skin, TotalBet.

UTG raises to $3, MP calls and I call on the BTN with AQs
Flop comes 943, 2 of my suit and I call UTGs half pot bet, MP folds.
Turn is a T and I make my nut flush. He bets $5 into $20 and I raise to $20. He calls
River is a 3 and he leads $10 into $60. I have a sinking feeling and just call thinking he could have TT and boated up and looking for me to raise. He shows JJ.

UTG raises to $3, CO calls and I call on the BTN with 99
Flop is T95. UTG leads $6 into $10, CO calls and I call as well not really fearing the next card.
Turn is 2. UTG checks. CO bets $20 into $28 and again I flat call.
Turn is 8. CO open pushes $71 into $68. I go to the tank. Now I know the straights got there so QJs is a real possibility. This chick, though, had stacks of over $200 and lost them so she was pretty much tilting, not really majorly blowing up but donking off the occasional big bluff. I put her on pretty much nada, maybe TPTK something like that and I call. She shows 87o and I stack her.

A few limpers, I check the BB with QJo, 5 to the flop
Flop QJ9. SB checks, I lead $4 into $5, UTG (started with $50) calls, BTN min-raises (only started with $28), huh, I call and so does UTG. OK so we've got TP, 2 pair, straight possibilities everywhere plus I'm playing 2 donks so I'm ahead more than not I feel.
Turn is 3, pretty safe. Checks to BTN who pushes his last $20 into $28. I call thinking its enough to push UTG out. UTG calls, OK so maybe he has AT-AK, 99.
River is a 5 and it gets checked down.
UTG has AK, BTN has Q9 and I scoop $85

This last hand was bizarre.
2 limpers, I raise to $6 with KK, only UTG calls.
Flop is AK5. UTG leads $5 into $15, I raise to $20, he calls
Turn is 4. UTG leads $5 into $55.....WTF???? I raise to $20, he calls
River is 2. He check calls my $30 value bet and shows AJ....niiiiiiice

Last biggy
2 limpers to me. I'm holding KK in the CO and just posted after joining the table. I raise to $6. SB pushes $49.50. Of course I call and he shows QJo.....Thanx for the $50 dude!!!!!

Overall a good day, up $243 and finished the month around $1300 up, best ever. I got around $350 in bonus and $940 for play, mainly at NL100 (8k) with some NL50 (2k) for a win rate of 5PTBB and $20/hour. Not a bad start to NL100 :)

912 hands $280 + $45 bonus......best session ever

$278 pot, $179 net......biggest pot ever

I was in the zone man. Nothing for the first 300 hands then bam here it is .

Then one period of around 20 minutes in the middle of the session, I got AA 4 times and KK twice, that was sweet. Didn't get much from the AAs, about $20 total, but some douchbag open raised all in again on me, I called with my KK and he flipped A4 soooooooted, like wft???

I just played a lot of small to medium pots, hit quite a bit but outplayed a bit as well, pushing my stack around and before I knew it, I was nearly $300 up of the session. I cleared another crypto bonus as well for $45 (£25) which was UKBetting. Crptos r sweeeeeeeet !!!!

I guess after a great start to $100 NL the dry spell had to come. Jul 03, I had the most awful run of dead cards and missing flops, checked my PT and I'm very low on pairs as well, like 1 in 25 for the last 2k hands and even lower on flopping sets, only 2 in the last 1k so I'm due some I think.

I cleared the bonus from William Hill on Jul 02 which eased my $175 loss by $45 so that was good. Also cleared $45 bonus on TotalBet on the 3rd and started on the $100 bonus for SunPoker last night.

Jul 04 on SunPoker, the dry spell continued, I got about half way through the bonus and eventually ground out a winning session after donking off with AA to top set for my stack early on. I did flop about 4 or 5 sets but all times it was in an unraised pot and I just picked up the pre-flop bets, typical! At one point I was down $180 but turned it around after hitting the board hard in late position battles with the guy to my immediate left who, I guess just didn't believe me both times.

Then about 3 orbits later

So I ended up around $40 on the session which was pretty good after being down nearly 2 buyins early on

It has indeed turned around, short term at least winning back pretty much most of that downswing over my last couple of sessions.

Jul 11 168 hands +$57
Jul 13 421 hands +$167

The tables have been very week recently and these 2 sessions have been the result of raw aggression (11.3, 9, 1.5), taking down lots of flops (46% WWSF) and getting to showdown when I needed to, winning 75%. I've been thinking long and hard before committing chips as I think this caused my downswing: not thinking plays through properly and taking everything into account.

I only had a couple of hands of note

Today, I had my first venture into Omaha hi for a change of pace, 25PLO-hi. I did pretty well, netting 1 buyin in about 1.5 hours of 2-tabling. I made a few rookie mistakes, like thinking my naked K made a flush with 4 of that suit on board, and also not realising I rivered a boat and extracting enough value. I also found AAAA in the hole as well which looked very pretty but, of course, can't improve. Still won with it though. I enjoyed the session a lot, particularly playing against people who don't have a clue.

Onward and Upward

Sunday morning, got home drunk after spending an evening celebrating my friend's fiancee's 30th and played a couple hours PLO25 which netted me about $60. I could enjoy that game a great deal, so juicy at that level.

Sunday evening, after doing bugger all, all day, I fired up the NL100 tables and proceeded to crush everyone for a $170 profit, also clearing the Interpoker re-deposit bonus of $100 making it a $270 session. Here's some hands:

Normally I wouldn't do this, but the guy was a donk and a shortie. I pegged him on a medium pair or bluff. His limp re-raise after a limper didn't really make a lot of sense so I pushed and sucked out on him.

Standard

Standard, though might have got more value by betting half villains stack and hoping he pushes so I could have re-opened the betting.

I've just played a session tonight of around 600 hands, getting half way through the Littlewoods monthly bonus and proceeded to wallop the game for

I thought this was well played by me. After villains small re-raise all in, I decided to let the other villain come along for the ride by flat calling. I knew him flat calling would mean a medium-high PP and the flop was a peach.

Donktastical !!!

Standard

Actually got value here, maybe river bet a bit more. Wonder if I could have got a river CR off here?

Meh!

Been a rough week. Most of the time spent with me getting my money in with the worst of it and, of course, not improving. 7/18, 7/19 combined lost 1 buyin. 7/20 got it back. 7/21 lost 1 buyin. 7/23 lost another buyin. Just couldn't seem to get anything going all week and I'm still majorly short of sets.

7/18 -$26. a few hands of note.....

First one was my all-in call with 88 on a J66 flop when I made a good read on villain with AT. The board finished TA.
I then got my stack back plus a little from the same villain when my JJ busted his K6 with J7KAA showing. He was extremely aggro was moving his chips around a lot. He left me alone after that hans though.
Made a set of 5s busting T9s with TP + OESD for half a stack
Flopped a boat with 77 on 722 flop, getting it all in on the turn of J and going down to JJ against my main rival....ugh....checked in PT, he's got a $70 off me at the moment, will have to sort that out.
Then, last one I lost concentration when I had a medium flush on a paired board and called off some chips. Didn't even notice it until they slid his way.
Finished the Littlewoods bonus for $45 then cashed out and found I'd lost about $22 with the £/$ exchange rate changing.

7/19 -$76

Nothing much here, just bled chips, couldn't get anything going, just lost a lot of missed CBs, position bluffs got called, just nothing doing at all.
On hand of note was me losing out with a medium flush to the nut flush for about 30BBs. I played it horribly though, ugh.

7/20 +$94

Got paid off with quad 3s against the regular muppet who couldn't fold his KK on a low board
Made a set of 6s against another KK

7/21 -$119

Received an email from Interpoker (account specific this one I think) offering me 50% deposit bonus up to $50....cooooool
Again didn't do a lot wrong this session, just couldn't hit anything.
I played an AQs like absolute shite with an FD and ended up losing half stack to AA.
Lost some chips with QQ after re-raising PF and getting CRd on the flop.

7/23 -$89
Got all-in with 99 on 9TTJ board and lost to JT
Proceeded to grind away winning small pots everywhere, making good steals and got back to -$5 when.......
I lost AKs turning the nut flush to turned quads (I played this one bad as well)
Meh !!!!!!
Cleared the $50 Interpoker interim bonus and also got another 3 * $20 bonus for what I've no idea.....maybe for playing long sessions (4hrs +) I dunno, mystery this one.

So with bonus and all, I've managed to pull a $250 week so not disasterous. I am playing some big pot s horribly at the moment though, so something to work on here. Hopefully next week will be better

It's a funny old game this poker. It's so hard to play when you're losing, yet so easy when you're winning.
Today I was a winner, +$187, after being at -$100 at one stage early on. I think I'll start all my sessions a buyin down because that seems to give me more focus. Strange. Got myself into a couple of tricky spots early on with AK hands.

UTG+1 open raises to 5BB, I call in MP with AK and we go to the flop of KQ7.
He checks, I bet 8 into 11 and get min CR'd. I push back making it 35 total and he calls
Turn is a rag and he pushes. I fold. I don't really get his push here except for waiting on a safe card to get the money in, why not just do it on the flop when I've got to pay to see 2 cards. I think he had QQ here.

I raise behind a poster to 4BB with AK, BTN calls and we see the flop KJ8, 2 clubs.
I bet 7 into 11, BTN calls. Turn offsuit 4, I lead 20 into 25 and BTN min raises. UGH!!!!
I fold.

So these 2 pots along with the usual downswing of chips early in a session leaves me nearly $100 down and I'm now in a 3 buyin downswing.
After about an hour, I go on the rampage and bust the tables for nearly $300 in a short space of time started off by this hand.

I guess it was a little risky this hand, but I wanted some value out of it as it's been a while since I've claimed a big pot with a set. I was sure he was going to bet on the turn so I CRd his ass all-in on that draw heavy board. I put him on AT or JJ here.

Next hand, same villain

This one had me quaking a little, especially when he bet the river, nasty board here for my set so I just called him. It would have been a tricky spot had he open pushed, prolly still have called even though I believe 88 and 99 to be in his raising range.

Nice call !!!!

Shoulda had villains stack here

I wussed out here. A river push is in order I think.

I never actually took a decent stack in this run but I'm happy with all these hands apart from the last one where I should have either CRd all-in or pushed the river, shoulda somehow got my stack in. Exactly one week after my big win for a while I was in that zone again, winning big pots, making perfect reads and stealing at the right time, bluffing with nada. It's like everythings on autopilot. So easy. If only it was like that all the time instead of the grind it usually is.

Ok just to bring this thing up to date with recent sessions and month end results, I'll start off with events from 25/7 onwards

Jul 25 +$60

Villain was very fishy and could have called my re-raise with just about anything. After the flop, I was glad to check it down here

Jul 30 +$92

I knew my TPTK was good here, BB villain was a CS but would mostly have raised a set here, MPs flat call probably a weak draw so I pushed the safe turn and let BB call off a weaker TP

I got too aggressive here I think with a vulnerable hand. I was willing to isolate both shorties (both were also donks, raising a lot) here but hadn't banked on the SB shoving with KK. Game over. If I'd have managed to get head up with SB, I could have pushed her off by repping the A, very WT player.

Jul 31 +$185

Chasing a flush on a pair board, tut tut...lol. Actually got paid here for quads, woohoo

Same fishy villain as first hand on Jul 25. Way to slow play that TP dude.....Nice turn

Standard 3-bet all-in against average to poor player. Didn't like the board or that min-raise but couldn't put him on exactly AKs so pretty sure I had it. Poor call by him though.

Not sure about this one. Villain WT and I tried to make my raise look stronger by not completely pushing him all-in. I think it was OK. Will post in NL forum for comments.

That takes me right up to month end and my best one yet to date. I feel I'm really pushing on now, adding $3k to the BR in my first 2 months at NL100 has really boosted the confidence after grinding out the 50s at UB for so long.

July
$1050 won on the tables over 13k hands for 4PTBB/100 (8bb/100)
$73 rakeback
$584 bonus

$1707 total :D
