I do my best with the 200 to 400 players. But the $2 trny on Stars with the 20% prize structure is a good one to play if your starting out and wanting practice in something beside freerolls because it is easy to make the money and get your entry back.

MTT's are like any other game. They take a lot of practice and a lot of patience. If you join a MTT and your not ready to play 3 to 4 hours of great poker then pass and play another nite. I have seen so many players space out once they reach the money because they are tired of playing or just plan tired.

Those nites play a SNG. This will also help your final table game.

Absolutely turbos are more about luck than skill. Poker lottery. They won't improve your skill set and that's the point of playing low buy in MTTs or anything else. Most players don't get that. The goal is to play in $10,000 events. You won't get the skills necessary by playing $2 Turbos.

Also another good book to read is Kill Phil.

The 180 person SNG's at Stars are a GREAT place to practice in MTT's.

The players are really awful in those things.
