Helluvan idea, TW. Also like TK's advice about playing SNG's to fund the buy-ins. What I've done in the past with some success is play a $5 SNG, and if I win, buy-in a $10, and if I win, take on a $20. It's almost like playing the final table of an MTT. A mini, personal tourney.
Has anyone ever figured out, or read where someone else did the math, on MTT bankroll variance? I think I read advice that you should have 20 SNG buyins. The number for MTTs must be much, much higher.
