July 7th. More of the same crap for a good part of the night. PP after PP after PP, NEVER hitting a set and having to fold or being folded to when I bet. Then, FINALLY, I get 22 and flop 225 with my opponent holding 55. I got paid nicely but wish I had had a full stack when it happened. Then a little while later I get KK and end up allin with the other guy holding AJo and all of a sudden, I am up almost 2 buyins. Too bad it was only at NL100. I was tired of losing at NL200 the last 2 days and the NL200 tables didnt look so good anyway so I decided on NL100 for the night.

BTW, my PP's without hitting a set streak is now at 93 in a row if you don't count the flopped quads. I'm not a statistician so I am not sure you count the flopped quads as a set or not. Anway, if not, then the count is approaching 100 fairly fast. Anyone up for a pool on how long before I finally flop a set?

July 8th and 9th so far.

For some strange reason, I didn't really feel like playing poker the last couple of days. Instead I've had more of a hankerin' to play Black Jack. And with out a bonus to boot! After doing the Will Hill monthly casino bonus and doing well at it, I just decided to play some more there even without a bonus. Well, after having a really shitty day of it on the 8th, I've come back on the 9th to tear it up. Down -$370 at one point yesterday I am now +$93 up overall for both days combined! I used to think Black Jack was a really boring game and to some extent I still find it can be if you flat bet the whole time. But now that I am changing up my bets, I find it much more interesting. And fun too. My next trip to the casino to play poker live will probably include some time at the BJ tables now. If only to rack up a bunch of players club points towards getting comps like a free room.

Coming from a BJ player... Bettin $5 a hand isn't gonna get you dick towards comping shit... Most big casinos (ie.. Vegas, AC..) don't even register you as playing with your rewards card unless you're playing $25 a hand minimum...

Had a hugely bad day folks. The kind where you question why it is that you even try to do this. I'll be back when it turns around (if ever), but until then, my journal is on hold. I don't want to make myself feel even worse by rehashing it here and seeing how bad the stats are. If you feel the need to know just how bad a day it was, think of your worst day at poker and then double or triple or quadruple it depending on your version of a bad day. Yeah, IT WAS THAT BAD. Twelver has nothing on me losing 1200 in a day. Maybe kenny and Xas but they have MUCH larger BR's than I do so a normal loss for them is going to be bigger than mine anyway. But as for % of BR lost in one day, I am in league with the gods of losers!
Only thing keeping me from finding a friendly bridge abutment with my motorcycle is that I took two 2nd's in a couple SnG's to finish off the night and that has given me reason to think that this dark tunnel I am in might have a light at the end of it. Although I am sure I am so far away from it now that my eyes will look like Gollums by the time I get to it.

BTW, except for the quads I flopped the other night, I am now WELL over 100 pockets pairs in a row without flopping a set. So even with the quads hand, I am being beaten on by the poker gods for some unknown sins. I'm so far past 100 that I have lost count. Poker sucks.
