Maybe I shoulda bet harder on the flop too, but chances were some one already had the lo so I was splitting there and it's a scary draw flop too. Draws are not likely to get out with a pot bet either. Question is do I fold the turn once another bad card hits with top set, a non-nut str8 draw and a bad flush draw?

Yeah; if anything I'd check the flop and see what develops. On the turn it's hard to imagine you're still good for high, so you have 10 outs to half the pot; you need to be paid 8x more then your call fo the pot odds to be OK (though as you should get more money in on the if you hit you don't need pot odds that good to call) so your call here is probably a bit loose.

Although there are some exceptions, high only hands (and more so high only draws) are of limited value in PLO8 when there's an obvious low on board.

i would have very low expectations for this hand at these limits. as monk suggested, i'd check the flop and see what develops. i would fold if someone bets and it looks like it will be HU, and i would call if it looks like a lot of people will stay in. i'll be especially interested in staying in if there are a few CSs who will call of big bets with weak hands and i'd try to draw to the boat. barring that, you can't really expect to gain much here.

If you always check-folded there you probably make more money than if you always bet out on that flop.
