When you get check-raised on turn, top pair is no good...
Personally I dont care about the odds there. Just fold it. What could you possibly beat? QT?
Preflop raise is fine (or you could make it 3). IMO you don't always have to raise KQ though, sometimes good to get some value from lower kings or queen instead. Depends on your style, table image, opponents...
Personally I often check on paired flops as everyone knows you don't have the 9 when you bet. (Which is the reason I always bet out if I flop trips or quads.) Sometimes it can be strong play to raise the turn after checking the flop.
Others might have different opinions, this is just my take on it.
