I raised preflop..bet the flopped ace and now Im making a big turn raise? He has to know I have a big ace. If I raise, I think $140 is way too much. There are no real draws to protect from so I think $100 is better.

However, I just called. The river was a J and he made another donk bet. I forget the amount but it was small.

Yeah, the way you said he doesn't get to showdown, and with the blocking bet, your amount is better. I gotta play more.

So, do you raise the river now after calling? I would think after the turn call, you are getting a call on the river if you pump it some. Assuming he made a bet of $30 on the river, maybe a raise to $90-$100 would get you an easy call here.

So, with your call on the turn, I'm guessing you aren't really worried about losing this hand and are trying to squeeze every last dime out of this villian that you can?

Hero only has a pair with top kicker so iIs it wise to raise the turn? Hero's hand may be best now but I don't like building the pot with only a pair.

I just called the river also. I probably shoudlve raised but the final board was AT46J. hes got alot of the smaller kickers covered. He had AQ though.

just calling is fine. AQ is literally the only hand that he can have that you beat that will possibly call a turn or river raise. i personally dont even think that most players would call a turn/river raise with AQ. i think you played this one perfectly

I don't like raising the turn because if he calls, now what? Did he hav set/two pai? I become very bluffable on the river.

I'd rather raise the river after seeing how he plays it. That should give me more of an idea if he has two pair. I say use your posiition
