He's only maybe 60% against 2 people...and it's harder to know where you stand. Against 2 limpers, I'd make it 6x, 9x is overkill. My standard raise is 5x unless it's folded to me in a steal position - then 4x.

Barring a read, I'm checking that flop. I think you are WA/WB. I now want pot control and a cheaper showdown.
Also, if you bet the flop, esp. at PP, you'll get every JT, every A9, every KJ calling you too. Then what? OOP, you become bluffable.
If he checks behind me on the flop, then I start betting.
