Shit Kenny that is a hell of a ugly run, not sure what the hell else to say to that. We all deal with stress in different ways, I get emotioal sometimes at a poker table sometimes too, though usually I want to bash someones face in.

I have told you many times how much I admire the mental stregnth it takes for you guys to play for a living have. As great as the lifestyle and hours can be I think the stress would crush me. I think once you get to such a high level playing the cards is the easy part, dealing with the mental side is the hard part.

PS Go get yourself laid, that usually does the trick for me.

I went thru a similar run like this ( 5 set under sets in 3 days) when I did the $5/$10 NL staking project. I ended up breaking about even over that month which was amazing considering all the beats I took. I think you can still pull that off.

The stress of that month sent me crawling back to $1/$2 for a long time. I had way way way more than enough money to play $5/$10 but the stress of all those beats and 2nd best hands was too much for me at the time. It took the fun out of poker.

I can only imagine how much worse it must be when youre playing for a living with no other income.

Its just now that Ive shaken it completely off and Im playing $2/$4 and $5/$10 again. I feel like Im twice the player I was back then. Im sure the same thing will happen to you.

You need a couple days off to recuperate. Youve made a ton of money this year so taking a few days off isnt going to matter.

Personally I would go down to $2/$4 for a few days and pound those fools to make yourself feel better but I know you dont want to do that, but at least take a break.

Also, tighten up and play very TAG for a few days. The last thing you need when your running horribly and questioning your play is to reraise with 53.

You need low variance TAG play until you get back on track. before you know it, you'll be crushing them again.
