My 2nd game in LV. I've been getting good cards for the first couple of orbits so I look like I'll play any two. I get
in the CO. Two limpers to me I make $20 and both limpers call. Flop comes 9 high with two clubs. Both check to me and I make it $40. EP folds and MP calls. No straight draw on board both players were above avg compared to everyone I played so far. Turn brings another club and MP checks to me.
Here is my problem, do you check behind here and act like you are scared of the flush or do you bet out again? I feel like MP was on the flush draw too and wants to check raise here. The EP made a comment before folding that I have AA so MP may be hoping to not scare me off here.
“The real things to know is that folks will stand to lose more than they will to win. That’s the most important percentage there is. I mean, if they lose, they’re willin’ to lose everything. If they win, they’re usually satisfied to win enough to pay for dinner and a show. The best gamblers know that.” - Pug Pearson
