One limper ($400 stack or so and I cover) to me in the SB. I raise my A9s to $8. This is not standard for me, but I did it this time. BB and limper call...ugh.
Flop comes K-9-9 w/2 spades. I have no spades. Jackpot baby, they can't put me on a 9 here! I lead $18 into the $24 pot. BB folds. Limper min raises to $36. I figure either he's got a K looking for info or he's got the case 9. KK should not be in his range here IMO. I pop it up to $96, he calls.
Turn is a J, not a spade. Pot is $210ish. I lead 126, he pushes. Its $180 to me with about $620 in the pot.
And I:
a) beat him into the pot
b) regret raising this hand OOP and muck.
c) make a crying call due to pot odds
Regardless of your answer, what do you think of my post-flop play here?
