Within the next few days I'm buying a car for next semester. So far all the good ones in my small price range (no more than $2000) are sold or are terrible. Tomorrow I'll try some more.

Today I tried out a 95 Mazda 626 5-speeder. The owner barely spoke english, so he needed his daughter to translate for him. He tried to cover up the rust with a spray job, but it was still obvious there was rust. The clutch worked smoothly, but the speedometer wasn't reading correctly and the brakes were in bad shape. The owner also apparently hadn't driven the car in 6 months, nor knows how to drive manual! I also wasn't able to try the car out on the highway (no plates). I told him this car feels like it needs some re-working and I'd need to take it to my mechanic before considering purchasing it. I don't trust the owner when he told me there's nothing wrong, and I couldn't understand his answer to, "Why are you selling the car?" (something I ask everyone who sells a car).

I called about three other cars that could be good within my price range, but all of those were sold already. There still were two people I was unable to reach, so tomorrow I'll try again. And maybe there will be some more cars for sale tomorrow.

Cars are so friggin expensive. Bleh. But next semester when I'm off-campus and about 10 minute drive from campus, I'm gonna love having one! Especially if it's a manual transmission, I love driving those! Autos barely even feel like you're driving anymore.

Okay, I now have a car again! There goes my wallet! Insurance, rent, gas, groceries, "entertainment", and of course school sh*t soon!

95 Mazda Protege. I tried it out for a while and everything is in great condition - got it for $1700. And it's manual! THANK GOD! It doesn't matter if the car's power sucks as long as you have a stick-shift to make up for it. Not to mention it's simply loads of fun driving stick.

I'm going to have to step up my hours on Doyle's Room for this bonus clearing - I need to cash out that money within the next few weeks. My budget is really tight after all this. I'm going to have a poker bankroll of like $300. BLEH!

I still have $85 on UB, so I might have to just dick around there with their SNGs that take FOREVER to fill.

I'm also going to be selling some goods on eBay/Amazon/whatever to make some more money.

I'm probably just going to take out the full student loan to help support myself next semester (and I'll be working as vegan chef at the food co-op on campus for $8/hr).

Looks like someone currently is selling UB play money for $6 / million play chips. I'll see if anyone will buy my 10 million for $20, a substantial discount compared to the other seller. You cannot ask for too much money from the play money players. If that works, then I might even build up a few more million play chips again (VERY easy).
