I have recently started playing 6 max and would like to know if I am adjusting correctly to this hyper-aggro play enviroment. I figured I would start with the simple hands and go from there so here are 2 AA hands that should basically play themselves most times in FR but in 6 max I'm not sure....let me know your line.
Hand 1: Only been at the table for a few minutes, no reads.
saw flop|saw showdown
SB ($68.50)
BB ($206.40)
UTG ($90.20)
MP ($38.15)
80 ($95.50)
Preflop: 80 is Button with , . SB posts a blind of $0.50.
2 folds, 80 raises to $3, 1 fold, BB calls $2.
Flop: ($6.50) , , (2 players)
BB checks, 80 bets $6, BB raises to $14
So, how do you play the rest of that hand? Pooosh now, slow up, reraise now?
Hand 2:A few minutes later, different table...no real reads yet but get the impression that villian is very LAG and he has been picking on the only other TAG at the table the last few hands.
saw flop|saw showdown
80 ($94.50)
UTG ($49.85)
MP ($261.15)
Button ($101.50)
SB ($37.20)
Preflop: 80 is BB with , . SB posts a blind of $0.50.
UTG calls $1, MP raises to $2, 2 folds, 80 raises to $12.5, UTG folds, MP calls $11.
Thoughts on the preflop raise?
Flop: ($27.50) , , (2 players)
If I pot it here I will have just about half my stack in so what is your move??
Like I said, I find these sorts of hands much harder to play in 6 max b/c it is harder to put opponents on a hand range plus they are mostly super-aggro which goes against my FR play style. Thanks for any input.
