Villain is 14/5/4

He has $96 and I have him covered. It is folded to him on the button and he min raises.
I call in the SB with . BB calls.

Flop ($6):
I check, BB checks, Villain bets $2. I check raise to $6 (not good, i know). BB calls. Villain re-raises to $17.

Action?

Any reads on the BB? That cold call scares the shit outta me.

If i were put in that situation i would probably just push...and hope BB doesnt instacall with 9T. Even if he does though u still have outs..so meh. Villian could have JJ or 88 or even 9T but i doubt it...probably AA or KK. Just say what the hell and push.

CR here isnt so bad. no one has shown any strength at all so, as a result, your CR is not as strong as it would be if you were CR-ing against a real PF raise/real flop bet.

i personally think there's very little chance you're ahead once BB cold-calls the CR AND villain reraises....especially considering this is FR. if BB isnt a donk i think this is one of the rare times i could fold bottom set.

BB is a donk and I was not worried about him. I should have said that in my original post. Also, because my check raise was so weak, I didn't give his cold call as much credit as I would have if I had raised it to $10 or more.

I was pretty sure that the villain had AA or KK. I've seen a lot of players that will min raise on the button with AA or KK if it is folded to them, for fear that the blinds will fold to a real raise.

I decided to push. BB folded. Villain thought for a while and then called. He had and I didn't improve.

Folding on the flop seemed too weak, but I considered just calling to see if I filled up on the turn. Anyone think that's the best play?

good to hear that most of you would have pushed. i really didnt feel that bad about it, i just hated to pay off a guy that open min-raises on the button with 910s.
