I know a lot of you guys hate these and whatnot. Often citing how "obvious" it is that I only have a draw/flush draw. But can someone please suggest a flop line here that has a higher EV? I can't think of one.

usually when an all-in CR is so absurdly large compared to the pot, you can bet/3bet all in.

here i think its extremely obvious that you have a draw. but i dont think thats the problem. my issue is that this huge CR will fold out all the one-pair hands that you are a favorite over and you only get called by a set.

i just think its silly to make your hand this transparent OOP with so little in the pot before you shove.

if you can post a few hands where you do this with a set, with a one-pair hand, or on a bluff.....then i'm all for it here.

If you check/call the flop I don't think the implied odds of the FD are anything to write home about.

Also, what are you then doing the 3 times out of 4 that you miss your draw? Are you check/folding the river?

The biggest problem with playing it the way you did is that the times that they fold, you dont win very much.

Thats why the bet...he raises...you push ...is better. When he folds, you win alot more money which means he doenst have to fold nearly as often to make the play +EV.

Do you every play TT this way because almost nobody does. If you do, and the villain is a regular, then I dont mind your line.
