He checks again. I have the 3rd nuts. Do I check behind? His flat call on the flop has bells ringing off in my head. But then I think about his big raise PF. No one bets $9 PF with Aces.

Or do I bet? How much?

He has KK or QQ. Bet $25-$30 and hope he calls.

If he had AA and checked it to you 3 times, then just put him on your buddy list. These are the same people who will flop a set a on a drawy board, slowplay it to the river, and then call your all-in when you make your straight or flush.

Not to say that slowplaying that flop is a bad play, but unless he puts you specifically on JJ, I don't think he can check the river with AA.

Heh, you're right runner_runner. If this hand wasn't strange and wacky, I wouldn't have even posted it. But here it is, so you know something is fishy

I originally was going to make a post with results and everything and label it "How NOT to play your flopped quads"

I ended up betting $30 (about 2/3 pot). He then basically min-raised $40 more to $70. I called, even though I had a feeling I was beat. It was just $40 more for me to call into a $150 pot.

He showed his pocket ducks for the quads.

I mean, can you play quads any worse? He got lucky I bet on the river, because if I would have checked behind (and I easily could have especially since I checked behind the turn), he would have NEVER bet or raised his flopped quads!

After the hand, I only could type "wow" into the chat and he goes "Thank You!!!" like he played the hand good or something.

Now, I probably should have re-raised Pre-flop and he might have folded, but I think that was only a small mistake. If that jack wouldn't have hit on the river, I would have for sure checked behind on the river.

Let me get this straight. The opponent goes strong PFR, check/call, check, and check/small raise ... and you put on him KK or QQ on an A227J board?

Seriously? Are we referring to the same hand?

Nobody in my experience has ever played those hands like that on that board. Weak then strong is a monster. Every damned time.

If you have KK you bet the flop and hope to take it down. If you somehow check/called the flop and checked the turn you block the river or check/call at worst.
