This was a hand I observed a friend of mine play. I actually had the stack size wrong, he had $115 not $130, which I think makes an even stronger case just to push preflop.
It played out as flollows:
He min raised to $36 and just the preflop raiser called.
Flop ($77) was something like
. Villain checked, Hero bet $40. Villain called.

. Villain checked, Hero bet his remaining $40. Villain thought for awhile and then called.
