Hi, I was sweating my friend Jerry at a 20 dollar stars tournament.
Final table, first pays about 4k, there are 8 players left. 9th gets about 260ish.
Jerry had 90k to start the hand and was about 5-6th chip position, the villain had about 130k or so, and was about 4th in chips. In about 3 rounds of final table action, Jerry had raised once during that period. Onto the hand....
Jerry is third to act and has pocket kings. Blinds are 6k/12k with a 300 ante or so.
Jerry makes it 30k to go, one person folds, then the villain moves all in for 130k. It folds back to Jerry who of course calls and the villain rolls over AJo.
Anyway, he flopped an ace and won the hand.
Lets look at this hand from the villain's perspective. Given Jerry's somewhat tighter table image, who likes this push and who doesn't?
discuss and I'll chime in with my thoughts
