I agree with Northview there are some bad board pairing things that can happen. But I also think I massively understated the amount you're going to get if your catch your cards. If someone has a set, they're not going to fold even if the turn brings your flush and you bet 2/3 pot ($100).
I have yet to be convinced that a check/raise all-in is +EV at all. Most of the time you will get called because they'll put you on a draw, and most of the time when you are called you will lose. Do you ever check/raise all-in like this with a set? If so, and if your opponents know it, then I guess your folding equity goes way up....
