I've always had a problem with staying focused in big MTTs. I couldn't even imagine how these guys are doing it at the WSOP. Today, I ran across this quote and a light bulb came on in my head.

“I’ve just been playing table by table,” said Hoyt Corkins, one of the day’s survivors, “and whatever happens I just want to win that table.”


Perfect sense. Take it like an SNG, more or less. Just focus on winning the table you're at. Cool.

Everybody else has all the problems you do.. you just have to wait for THEM to break, and then take them :]
