This is pretty straightforward, but I am struggling with value betting river and think this a clear example of me missing one (I think). Just re-read Hold-em for Advanced Players and I always get goofy after reading it. Is there any shot that a bet on river could be bad? Or is this a case where I only get a call when I am beat? I would think that anything beating me here would have bet....but villain is SB and could have wide range of hands. I did not expect what he showed.
