I didn't want to get c/r here so I checked to see the river. I was thinking he could have a flush draw and now Im behind. Should I have bet here and if so how much? Half the pot?

I don't understand how you get checked raised holding the nuts on the flop and still only get 1/5 of your stack in there. There are 2 open ended straight draws and a flush draw. you wanna be able to push a non scary turn.

Sensible check behind on the turn though.

By pretty much min reraising you're making it as cheap as possible to chase any draw which it the only hand that will be able to beat you.

Your reraise on the flop is to small. Make it a $1.25, I don't mind the check behind on the turn if you are willing to call a reasonable bet on the river.
