What was your reasoning behind the flop call? You have to expect the SB to do exactly what he did on the turn if you continue to play correct? You need to push or fold that flop. Your call on the flop puts you in this position on the turn. The most likely holdings due to his play pre-flop and the flop include QQ/AQ/99--all hands that have you beat. I think you have to fold this turn.

I'm also not a big fan of your play pre-flop, and I think a raise on the button is called for before the SB raised. Since you limped, I don't know if I'm even calling the SB's raise.

I think his flop check raise is too big to be believable. I think he wanted you to fold the flop. AK looks pretty likely to me.

But not 3 betting the flop is what got you into trouble. Im sure you thought you were ahead on the flop. In that spot, I hate just calling (which in essence is trying to trap) when there are quite a few cards that will scare you into folding the best hand.
