1/2nl on stars. i have $200. no one has me covered by much.

i'm dealt [5s] OTB. 3 limpers to me. i limp. both blinds play.

6 way pot. $12. flop comes [3c][4c]. blinds check. utg player bets $6 ($200 stack, but new to the table). EP (18/8 with a 1.67 AF) raises to $20. it folds to me. only the blinds are are between me and utg.

I reraise to $60.

Thoughts?

Looks fine to me - EP probably has a medium overpair.

Only hands beating you are 56. Is EP really limping in with 56 with those stats? Probably not.
Id say ur ahead here 90% of the time if not all the time

I think I might push here. It would seem that EP definitely has a set. If he has 56 you're done anyway I think.

If he calls your raise and a club hits, you're action is dead. I guess its a read on how often you think he'll call your push vs. slow down later on a scary board.

I believe I would also flat call this one. The guy raised big enough that it looks like he has a hand hes protecting but one that cant stand alot of heat. I would say its something like 88.

Now, if he'll go to the felt with 88 here, then put the pedal to the metal, but I would rather let him fire again on the turn thinking Im chasing the flush.

Nothing at all wrong with the reraise though with this very drawy board. Alot of cards could kill your action.

I don't mind a flat call and then putting money in on the turn unless the board pairs or you get counterfeitted. Then again, I have been playing a lot of Omaha lately...
