Tribeca 200NL 6max. I'm directly to the left of a nice little maniac. He's 68/24 FWIW. Some history first.
My first hand at table is checked down to river. Board is 88734 and the 4 completes the flush. He leads x2 pot and gets called by a guy. He had T2o no FD. This is a pattern. He loves to overbet steal. I saw him do it several times
After that he builds a stack from 50 to $500 in about 30 hands with stuff like he calls a raise with A2 and leads big on a KJ2 board. Leads turn too. River is another 2 and he wins.
1) My first big hand I have 9[c] T[c] and limp. Flop J[s] 8[c] T[s]. He leads pot as usual, I raise it up to $40 or so and he calls.
Turn a Q[s]. He leads 3/4 pot, I min raise
. He just calls. At this point I know he doesn't have the flush.
River a brick and he open pushes, and I call . He had Q[h] 3[d].
2) Later we are HU again. I have 9[h] 9[s]. Flop is T[h] 5[c] 3[d]. He checks, I pot, he calls. We check it down from there. He has J[c] 7[d] and called a pfr OOP with it. Notice no river steal now after I called him in hand 1.
3) I get KK and reraise him pf he calls. Flop is rags and he leads near pot, I call. Turn is a rag, he checks, I bet 2/3 pot, he folds.
4) NOW THE HAND. I have $540 and he covers. He's continued being a maniac but hasn't gotten too involved with me. He limps, I raise to $15with A[h] J[h]. He calls as usual and so does another guy.
Flop T[h] 9[s] 2[s]. ($45) He leads $40, I raise to $100, other guy folds, and he thinks and calls.
Turn K[c]. ($145) He checks, I bet $120.
Thoughts? Suicide with big stacks or a good read based upon prior history?
