So 3 nights in a row I stayed up all night playing MTT's. Each night I got past the bubble with a decent stack size and then get crushed and wind up spending 3 or more hours to just barely get back my money.
This one was tonight. Just after the bubble burst. 18 left, 13-18 barely make their money back.

I didn't think either one had an Ace after they both checked the flop and if I had given up the pot my M would have dropped under 5 so I felt I had to push and pray. Of course A2 will always do it to you.
Afterthat hand I actually scratched and clawed back to about 1500 when it's folded to me in the SB and I actually think I have a chance to get back into this thing. Ha, ha, how could I expect anything different?

Ugly enough, but the same exact situation last night. I just barely snuck into the money and then this hand comes up right when the bubble burst. I wouldn't call this a horrible beat as it was a coin flip on the flop, but I went from a pretty good starting hand to drawing absolutely dead on the flop. Quick and painful.

Again a few hands later, still alive and it is folded to me in the button with a pretty good hand, just like tonight. The BB ALWAYS seems to have a monster though. At least this time I wasn't drawing dead until after the turn.

Again now 2 nights ago, same exact situation. The bubble had just burst and I'm sitting in the BB with what looks like a garbage hand getting to see a free flop.

Beautiful 2 outter cripples me. I shoulda known and folded on the flop. But YET AGAIN I get into a situation where it is folded to me in the SB with a decent hand and of course this is how I make my exit again.

So all told, I've put in about 8 hours work and profited about $5. If I had any kind of luck at all I would have probably final tabled or even won one of these tournaments. So goddamn frustrating. I'm a small favorite in the 99 hand, a monster favorite in the KK and 85 hands, but yet I can't win even 1 of those. Then in all 3 hands I get to go up against the BB, he always has something better than I did.
