So I was lurking a bit because improving my game is paramount and I've just moved up levels ($500NL FR on the Dise)...and I came across this quote by X in another thread:
LOL. This guy is probably (not probably, but actually), one of the posters on this site whose opinion I respect the most. And once again, he nailed it. SOOOO, I would like to retract my prior comments about negatives outweighing positives etc....this is a great resource to learn from, I still want to learn, and I am not shy about admitting a mistake. I surely wont be addressing the posts in anything goes that are focused on topics which will cause great vengeance and furious anger inside me....BUT, some posters here have VERY good advice to share, regardless of the stakes they play (the converse of that statement is true as well sadly).
But I would be remiss if I continued to play the 500s and 1000s without posting hands and getting feedback from posters like X, Xas, Shobute, Ice, MVP (though a depraved bastard, he has miraculously transformed from a straight up donk to a pure NIT). If I left any of the usual suspects out, it may have been unintentional - my apologies. I will do a better job of drowning out things that make me nuts, and if necessary, will increase my alcohol intake to accomplish this feat.
Cheers and expect some solid hands in the coming days. I'm running pretty hot at the 500s right now. Last 2 times I had AA I was up against KK and AK (K on flop), so the BR is at an all time high.
The side games at the Rio and Caesers were a joke. Like playing basketball with retarded midgets.
Any questions?
