Hi guys, just played this hand this morning and it's still bugging me a little, any comments or thoughts welcome.

ok, nice flop no flush or realistic straight draws, bet the pot. Villain calls, not what i was expecting...

Turn: ($25.67) (3 players, 1 all-in)
Hero calls $16.30 (All-In), Villain calls $16.30.

Nice turn card, but this is the situation thats bugging me. I've got $16 left and the pot is $25. I'm thinking that if i bet small and he calls then i have to bet again on the river and i've still got no idea what he has (i was fearing a set, but then i always fear a set when someone call a large flop bet with an uncoordinated board).

I guess i'm just asking if there was a better way to play this hand or if i made the only reasonable play left to me on the turn.

Your post flop play is fine. Theres not much else to do when the pot is $26 and you only have $16 left. Just shove it in.

I really dont like your preflop action thought. Theres almost no situation where you should make a minimum raise preflop. Villain min raised to $0.50, you should reraise to more like $3.

Thanks iceman, i hadn't really thought through why i was min raising, but looking at it i was just making the bet that i would have made if there hadn't been a raiser before me.

Is the reason i should make it $3 or so to try and get it heads up with the raiser?

sorry if these are noob questions, but the faster i get the basics sorted the better.

W/ AK I like to raise 5 BB from MP or LP, if its raised before me I tend to call, I dont like to raise from EP w/ it because someone w/ KK or AA might just call your raise, and on the flop you may well think you have the best of it but in fact be behind.
