monk said it quite well, but i'll still say more or less the same thing my own way...

sometimes it IS better to wait until the turn, but in this case i think it's an easy push. you only like non-spade A, 2, Q, K (10 cards) or a paired board on the turn, so there are plenty of cards you don't want to see. furthermore, as monk said, if the board does pair, you've killed your action.

also, the pot has gotten pretty big for this buy-in (60% of a stack), so there's no crime in taking it down on the flop. furthermore, the pot is big enough or will be big enough that you really don't want to be forced to fold if a scare card comes -- you want to see two cards and take your equity to fill up (assuming you're behind) from the flop onwards.

this can be a high-variance way to play, but i think it saves you from making the tragic error of folding when you're ahead (i.e., a scare card hits and villain semi-bluffs it with a flush and/or straight redraw) while at the same time giving you the maximum chance of taking down a juicy pot uncontested.

Why is that board so scary? That's about as uncoordinated a baord as you can hope for to flop top set w/10s. Shove that flop and either make someone pay for their wrap draw or abuse some idiot w/ and underset.
