$50NL 6-max @ Tribeca

table is 3-handed. me, villain, and fish. i have $150. villain covers. fish has about $18

i raise to $2 OTB with [Jd]. villain reraises to $5 from SB. fish folds. villain seems pretty tight, not overly aggressive. this the first time he's played back at my aggression since the game got shorthanded. i've been raising a lot PF and taking down the pot on the flop with a CB. since we have 300bb each, i call and take a flop.

villain leads for $8. what's my plan here?

This hand seems very read dependent to me. If villian is playing back at you and you're both deepstacked, I'm guessing he's packing major heat. One option would be to raise him back, hope he reraises you with an overpair and then push him. Even with AA it's pretty hard to call away 300 BB's with a somewhat cordinated board.

I probably call and try to turn the flush. I might raise back to try to take it down now or get a free card by checking behind on the turn, but I think you're gonna get 3 bet on the flop. I don't play Tribeca but I've heard some crazy things, so I probably would try to hit it rather than get my opponent to lay down JJ or better.
