Villan was laggy 74/24 through 54 hands.

I think play up through the flop is Standard, but I am lost when he bets into me on the turn. Obviously has likes his hand and is going all the way with it, but is mine big enough to make the call?

74/24 isnt LAGgy. Its maniacal.

Damn this is a tough one. I doubt you have the best hand but I think you have enough equity to call here. Against this guy, I think even the other nines are outs although the queens might not be, so maybe you dont have enough equity. I cant decide.

UGH!. I think if hes been playing hands like this in the past, that you shouldve either flat called the flop or pushed the flop. Of course its easy to say that now that I saw what he did on the turn...but thats why I said "if hes been playing hands like this in the past".

Well I only have 50 hands on him so I hadn't seen him a whole lot. fwiw, I don't remember him leading into a raiser on the flop and turn.

I put him on a set, and if that is the case I have 15 outs (The 9 remaining [h], 3 Q's and 3 7's).

With 15 outs I am approx 30% to hit on thr river...There is $195 in the pot and $75 for me to call giving me 2.6 to 1 on my call. Which if he has a set means I am not getting the odds i need. But...i suppose soime times he has something else here, not sure how often though.

Help BTP...help!

i would think seriously about shoving the turn.

his line looks so much like a one-pair hand protecting against a draw. and if he's 74/24 there are a ton of one-pair hands he can have, as well as a bunch of bluffs.

actually, the more i look at this hand, the more i think he turned a straight here. KQ isn't likely because of the $30 flop raise, unless it's [Kh][Qh], but that just be evil, so we'll ignore than.

But i think there's a good chance he has 87. If i wind up putting him on 87, i can't call any more, since now i'm drawing to a flush FTW, and a straight to chop.

if i wind up putting him on a non-straight, i'm calling obv.

Either way, it's tough to make that decision from the observer seat. In the end i'm gonna have to go with what my guts telling me when i'm in the hand. You just have to make a decision on what you feel his hand is at this point, and if you decide you do have the 15 outs then make the call. if you decide you don't, then fold it. You said you put him on a set, so call. but i'm not quite sure that's what he has here.

I think you should push the turn if you're considering calling the river. Against a muppet like that there's a (small) chance your hand is good.
