$5/$10 NL 6 max at Prima. The table is very aggressive. By that I mean theres a raise preflop almost every hand. Post flop is pretty standard.

I open raise on the button to $35 with [6d]. The SB reraises to $65. BB folds and I call. We both have full $1000 stacks.

Pot $140. Flop [4c][3h]. He bets $120. What do you do?

I play like I am protecting my hand and define it here as an overpair. He's only put $185 into the pot here on the flop and WE WANT IT ALL!!!!! so we have to raise in this spot. Hopefully, he wants to continue to dictate the action and will reraise or bet a blank on the turn...hopefully.

So raise to $320-$380 IMO depending on how much you think he will call with an overpair.

i like a raise as well. lots of scare cards could come on the turn. if he has AA-QQ he's not gonna go away. He might not reraise.. but he will at least call.

Ive found alot of these 5/10 players will fire 2 bluffs which is why I asked the question. However, I did raise to $300 and he folded.

I think if I just call, he might fire again with nothing and if he has a big pair , it really doesnt matter what i do.

If he had a big pair you are stacking him because that is a dream flop for AA/KK specialy because you raise PF and those hands are not likely raising hands.

I dont think you can allow a cheap club on turn because that IS killing your action. He folded because he didnt have nothing. Prolly missed AK.

the better + more aggressive that villain is, the more i'd lean toward calling the flop and getting it in on the turn.

Its hard to fear the flush draw heads up in this raised and reraised pot (although his reraise is small enough to mean anything). if I call the flop, the flush only hits the turn once in about 4 times. When it does hit, its surely not going to slow him down if he has a big pair with the big , so now there even less chance the will kill my action.

I think I like a call better, although like I said, I did raise.

The very next round I had [9h] on the button and raised to $35 again. he reraised to $60 again. This time though the BB cold called. I also called but I missed the flop and folded to his CB.

I didnt know this then, but hes 55 / 42....basically a maniac.
