Update-

ok, well for those who hadnt been paying attention, i won a $10 rebuy for over 12k on.what.. Thursday?..dont remember. anyway, i immediately cashed out 2k.....and i plan to keep the rest in my BR.

Right now my plan is to make 200NL my new home. I probably wont play many hours though...i feel like taking a break from cash games so i can play more tourneys. I dont know...we'll just see what happens. I am gonna try and play the $150 Freezeout and the $10 R&A $55000 G. on Stars every night. As well as the Sunday tourneys on both Party and Stars every week for now on. For the first time i actually feel comfortable putting up the buyin to play these tourneys..its a good feeling.

Ive put in a few sessions at 200NL since the win..i actually think the players are worse than 100NL. I mean..most of them are absolutely terrible. I lost a couple buyins to start out but then made 5 back...and this was with a horrid run of luck that has been going on for the past week. Im really think i'll be able to crush these guys once i get my feet wet. Im also in the process of fixing a big leak in my game...so when i get that taken care of, look out fishies.

During this run the past week, my PTBB/100 has been more than cut in half...

Im not gonna really put a set number on how much i need to have before i move up to 400NL...i'll do it when i feel comfortable. I think i might even skip it altogether really...from what i hear, those guys are fuggin crazy. and thats the exact kind of player i struggle against. But i dont know..i probably couldnt help but take a shot at Xastons domain. Just to test it out.

Im gonna go ahead and stop posting my exact numbers regarding profit and stuff. Mostly because i dont feel like keeping up with it in this journal. I'll keep giving rough estimates of course....so you'll know how im doin. So right now my BR is at 13.5k. And im up 3 buyins at 200NL.

Update- August 14-

well..another day another big cash. ha

I played the $100 rebuy on stars and came in 4th for over 5k...roothlus actually took it down..fuggin beast. I didnt risk my stack once the whole tourney until the final table...where i eventually became the short stack with 4 or 5 left. Then i ran A4s into AQ and won (my only suckout)..and then A4 against AA to bust out. meh...pretty unlucky for them to have huge hands there. oh, and i ran AQs vs AK for half my chips at the final table..bah...sucks.

I also played in a PL Omaha 6max tourney..placing 10th i think..for like $80 in profit. heh, not much but it was fun.

oh...and i also played a $100 tourney on Party. THE softest players i have EVER seen in a high buyin tourney..i kid u not. It was ridiculous. I couldnt get any cards though and busted pretty early. But im definately adding that tourney to my list of 'must play' tourneys.

My BR is now up to 18k. lol..wow. I was tempted at playing some 400NL tonight but backed out of it. I just dont think i can deal with a $400 bad beat or a $2000 downswing or whatever yet. So im gonna stay at the 200NL for awhile..if not for a loooong time.

Edit- just realized i hadnt updated since the Sunday tourneys. I busted out after the first break on Stars because i was card dead...but went deep in the Party mil. I ended up taking 60th for $1800 or so. I busted out with QQ against 33...turn 3, riv 3..lol..fuc'ker. Everytime i tried to get a big stack i got sucked out on. KK vs AQ...A9 vs A4...bah. party is so rigged.

And i also busted out of the Stars Second Chance pretty early i think...dont really remember. but whatever, it was a good day i guess.

And im so fockin jealous of Stelvask. bas'tard. heh

add the bodog sunday $100 to your list. worst tourney players on the internet and usually an overlay around $25k (100k gaureenteed total.)

prima also has good tournaments.. well they used to anyway. haven't looked recently.

also.. if you plan to play $400nl bypass stars completely. there is no need to play against complete rocks all day. bodog, prima, party.. anywhere but stars.

definatley add the sunday bodog tourny to your list...i have played it a couple times and it always seems to have an overlay.

Oh and the $200 6max tables at Party is where I call home. We all know MVP is a weak tight little bitch so take what he says with a grain of salt. I personally think its a gold mine.
