1/2 on Stars does tend to be very nut-peddley really. Although obviously without a great read on villain it's a tough river fold to make... The turn bet kind of looks like he's turned a bit of something to go along with a nut low draw (AK or club flush draw), I figure a set is unlikely really, and it would be an odd way to play the straight but then again the Stars folk do seem to make plays like this. So I'd figure a straight, AK or busted flush/low draw is the most likely flip on the river, and 76 into a 166 pot is a bet where you could go either way - depends if you think he's going for a cheaper bluff or trying to price you in. I'd call against most folks but at Stars I don't think folding is at all bad here, though obviously villain's line is confusing whichever way you slice it.
