Get 22 in MP and limp, then call a raise to 6x by the player behind me. There are 3 to the flop: me, then pfr, then another guy OTB.

Pot $9ish. Flop K72. I lead 7, they both call.
Pot $30. Turn A. I lead $15, pfr calls, other guys folds.
Pot $60. River A. I have 25 behind, other guy covers.

I check, he pushes, and I ....???

call.. though i would just have pushed it on the river rather than checking to him

i also wouldnt be calling first in in middle position and then calling such a big raise with a 22

There are simply no such thing as so many good players as to not be able to extract 8.5 times the raise when you hit your set, so, not calling a decent sized raise preflop, by ANYONE, on these stakes is simply-EV.

That A hitting the river is absolutely ugly but I dont think you can fold there. For what I have seen, it could easily be AJ vs. AQ and u tripled up. AK is likely but you cant win them all.

I have to agree with SubZero.Your preflop call is very questionable. You didnt mention stack sizes but if the PFRaiser didnt have at least $60 (with you covering him), that was a bad call.

Sometimes I call a big raise PF with any pair hoping to hit because most of the times when someone raise BIG preflop, they cant let go on the flop if they happen to have AA/KK.

PS: I was checking, and you only had $47 when the hand started, so, the call preflop was BAD.

This is $50 NL. He limps, guy raises to $3 (6X), he calls after button calls. I see nothing wrong with that.

CRAI on the turn or a $22-$24 bet sounds good, $15 is a little light.

And AlexMR, just because you hit a set doesn't mean you're guaranteed to win the pot. If pocket two's hit a set and there's 2 other pocket pairs seeing the flop, it's not all that rare to get oversetted. In addition you can also hit the set and get flushed or straighted. 22 is a profitable hand in small stackes no limit ring, but not played first out of position.

A good example would be if an 88, 77, and 22 all take a cheap flop. You're winning $1.50 at best and getting stacked at worst. Even when it's something like 22 vs AK, sets only hit 1/8 the time on the flop, so hitting an set and hitting an AK to get paid is like 1/30. Saying all PP's are profitable no matter where they are is just wrong.
